Ronald Ellsworth, MD

Biography:

Cascade Medical Center welcomes Ron Ellsworth M.D., a board certified family physician. Dr. Ellsworth grew up on a farm in Grandview, Idaho and then moved to Arizona as a teen. Dr. Ellsworth attended medical school at University of Arizona, and completed his family medicine residency in Provo, UT. Dr. Ellsworth loves rural areas, and especially the opportunity to get to know everyone in the community and do his best to serve them. Dr. Ellsworth is married with five kids who are the joy of his life. As a father of five kids, he leverages that experience to help improve his care for families in the area. He specializes in pediatrics, chronic disease management, preventative care, and urgent care. Most recently, Dr. Ellsworth had his own family practice and urgent care in St. Anthony, ID, but closed his practice to come to cascade where he hopes to have a little more time with his family enjoying the wonderful outdoor opportunities of the area and interacting with the good people that live here.

James Dardis, MD

Biography:

Dr. Jim Dardis has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. Having grown up in Colorado, Dr. Dardis graduated from Colorado College in Colorado Springs in Chemistry before attending medical School at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and residency at North Colorado Medical Center. Then one day while driving through Valley County on his way up north, the beauty of the area made him stop and make Idaho his home. Most of his career was spent in McCall at Payette Lakes Medical Clinic providing a broad spectrum of family medicine, including Emergency Room, OB/GYN, C-section, and other surgical procedures. In addition to seeing patients at Cascade Medical Center, he is the Medical Director for Donnelly, Meadows Valley, and Riggins EMS Districts. Dr. Dardis and his wife Kathy enjoy their grown children and pretty much anything outdoors.

Kate Farmer, PT, tDPT

Biography:

Kate and her husband, John live just outside of Donnelly. They enjoy all the outdoor activities that Valley County provides. Kate has been a physical therapist since 1993 starting her career with St. Luke's in Boise, Idaho and then in private practice in Boise; before moving to Valley County in 2001

Jessica Wagner, PTA

Biography:

Coming from a small town herself Jessica enjoys getting to know the members of her community. Though patients may share the same diagnosis, she recognizes that each person has individual needs and wants to use her unique "hands-on" experience to better serve you and your lifestyle. "I want to provide you with the education you need to reduce the control that pain can have on your life." Like many parents of young children she spends her spare time juggling the needs of her family. When life slows enough for a little bit of fun she spends the time with her husband, children, and dog enjoying the many outdoor activities the Valley County area has to provide.

Alison Zeller, PT, DPT, Cert. DN

Biography:

Alison was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated with a B.S. in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in 2012. Working with the University track and field team she found a passion for helping people to move better and achieve their goals. After graduating college Alison moved to Montana where she spent several years raft guiding outside of Yellowstone National Park, getting involved with taking veterans down the river. Alison graduated from Chapman University in California with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2018 and soon after moved to Valley County where she could offer her knowledge and skills to benefit the community. Alison takes an integrative approach to therapy using a combination of total body movement assessment, manual techniques and directed exercises to address the root cause of the problem. Her treatment philosophy involves exposing altered movement patterns and muscle compensation that eventually lead to pain with the ultimate goal to get you back to doing what you love. Alison's professional interests include spine rehabilitation, sports-specific rehab, dynamic balance and functional progression for older adults, post-orthopedic surgery rehab and chronic pain management.

Janet Smith

Biography:

Jann is a licensed physical therapist assistant who grew up in the Portland, OR area and graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, OR in 1985 with an AA of physical therapy. Most of her career has been spent in rural, critical access hospitals where she enjoys a getting to know her patients in a variety of settings. She has a special interest and extensive training in aquatic therapy.
After spending over 20 years working in the gorgeous yet very moist Oregon Coast, she finds the mountains of Idaho a nice change of environment in which to enjoy the outdoors with her dog, Silas.
She is the proud grandparent of 10 lovely and talented grandchildren who live in the Treasure Valley who she sees often. Jann worked at Cascade Medical Center from 2014 to 2016 and is very happy to be back working in the community she has grown to love.
