Living in Cascade
Cascade, Idaho is a small
community nestled in the majestic Rocky Mountains approximately 75
miles north
of Boise. It is in the middle of ski country, and offers year-round
outdoor
sports and recreation for everyone. With 92 lakes and 169 streams
within a
50-mile radius of town, Cascade offers a wide variety of fishing
opportunities.
A beautiful and challenging nine hole golf course graces the shore of
Cascade
Lake. Hunting, camping, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, rafting
and
photography are just a few of the outdoor recreation opportunities
available.
For the winter sports enthusiast, the Cascade area offers 800 miles of
groomed
snowmobile trails as well as 27 km of groomed Nordic ski trails and two
Alpine
ski resorts within 35 miles.
